The City of Quincy is Hiring a Construction Inspector, Full-Time, FLSA Non-Exempt, Salary $75,000-$80,000 annually DOE/DOQ

POSITION OVERVIEW: Performs intermediate-level technical field work to ensure quality of work and materials used in a variety of public works infrastructure projects including construction, repair, maintenance, or alteration.  Ensures conformance with City standards, contract specifications and safety standards.  Maintains records and prepares reports on projects inspected.  This position stages inspections at various intervals in the construction process to verify that methods, materials, and completed projects comply with contract specifications, project drawings, and City codes. The Construction Inspector performs a variety of technical tasks related to assigned areas of responsibility.
